Seriously? I can't believe it. As if I wasn't already wishing the shoot wasn't over! Not even ten minutes after I finish my last blog post about how no one responded to my emails and calls trying to get in touch with people who knew John and Melinda Harmon and Mark Mangelsdorf and were around during the murder, and I get an email response - "Call any time, day or night! I'd be happy to help!"
Augh.....can I Please please please have another day on the shoot? Can we put more scenes in or something? Anyone happening to read this involved with Deadly Women would be like, HA! AS IF! They shoot two entire episodes in one week; complete with gory special effects and all.
He is the one that I really wanted to talk to as well. He knew Mark, Melinda's lover that murdered her husband, in high school and he went to college (Uni) at MNC with him, but instead of going on to get a seminary degree like he planned, he went on to do CRIMINAL PSYCHOLOGY. Umn hello? Show series titled "Deadly Women"? How much more PERFECT can you get???
I still want to talk to him and get my questions answered and see what he has to say about everything for curiosity's sake, despite the fact that sadly the shoot is over. I can't use it for Melinda's character anymore; chances are not very likely for me to ever play her again. It should be interesting though...
John and everyone at Beyond, are you SURE you don't want to flush Melinda's story out into, like, a two-part episode or anything? ;)
Regardless, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Mr. David Penrose. You are absolutely wonderful, and even though it's not necessary for the show I do still hope to speak with you. Thank you for writing me back and being so willing to answer my questions, and even telling someone who lives on the other side of the world to call anytime, day or night. You are fabulous and I can't tell you how appreciative I am!
