I have felt like a real actress this week! Not in the movie star I'm actually getting paid kind of actress, but starving running around trying to do everything I can and being exhausted having no time kind of real actress. Which is fine by me; I'll happily be exhausted and only getting a few hours of sleep a night if it means I'm headed in the right direction! Tuesday was a highlight of my week in that aspect; getting up to be in Merrickville to work in a factory folding fabric at 8 AM, working on my scripts and monologues and accent and voice exercises while folding, (I was still super productive though; I promise!), and leaving to run to an audition where I felt like a total idiot. I would absolutely love to get the job, although I don't even know if it's paid, but you try working out what to wear when the say to come in "Hipster casual." Everyone was super nice, but I don't know if will ever feel natural to walk into an office where there are three or four strangers working and one of them films you standing on the mark jumping up and down in the dead quiet room trying to pretend you are at a concert having an amazing time. It's all good experience though; I'll happily jump up and down feeling like an idiot for just about any project right now!
heh, I love your profile pic and your quotes, especially the one about the chardonnay! I'll drink to that one :)
